Anyone here work offshore??

Hi guys,

I realize this is probably the last site people who work offshore come, however I am getting into the offshore oil industry soon, doing a survival course next month, anyone give me some pointers??

I don't, but I know some people that do. They say it's pretty hard work, you are literally on the job 24/7. They usually work in cycles : 2 weeks on, 4 weeks off with full pay.
