The CD player is my car (just the stock CD player) plays regular CD's fine but screws up when playing CDR's. It'll play the songs in order if you don't touch anything. But if you want to listen to track 2 then skip to track 8 it won't start to play track 8. It just keeps scanning the CDR then says error. Should I try another brand of blank CD's? The ones I have now are Memorex.

Some CD players are not designed with provision for playing CDRs - guess you need to get an aftermarket unit my friend

Thats the most likely cause of your problem. It will also do that if cds are scratched up.

It could be a number of things. It could be that your CD player doesn't like the CDs that your burner creates. It could be the brand of CDs you use. It could be the speed you burn your discs at. It could also be that your CD player is friggin' ancient and doesn't like to play burned CDs.

Try a different brand of disc, different burner, and try burning your CDs at lower speeds. You may eventually get a combination that works for you.

I find that a disc is much more reliable when I burn it at slower speeds (usually 4x). Also, I find that that generic store brand CDs are garbage and don't last much past a year. I usually go with well known name brands such as Fuji or Maxell. If you really want to go the stretch, you can get professional grade discs or ones that are manufactured to fill a certain need (audio, photo, data, etc)

Again, the only way you can find what works for you is to experiment a bit.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
