Anyone ever enounter a guy like this?

Back when I worked in corporate purchasing, there was a very junior level Finance guy I began to call Silent Bob.
He could never look me in the eye or acknowledge a friendly hello in the hallway when I walked by.
And he was very quiet as he went about his duties.
But man, he was C&F, gregarious and animated when he had to interact with the gals in Accts Payable.
I've never seen a fellow that was so two-sided.
Anyone else run into someone like him?
I didn't feel one way or the other about him, except puzzled at his dual nature.

I'm not worried or anything - I *used to*work with him.
I just thought his behavior was rather odd - the opposite of most guys - he was confident with women, but couldn't even relate to another guy on even the most basic office courtesy level.
