Has any of you guys travelled a lot?
Even if you haven't travelled a lot, but just a little, feel free to share your experiences with me about those places lol...I'm basically just wondering what would be interesting places to see/live...
I've thought about Canada (Toronto/Montréal)..rather than the U.S. not because I dislike the US or anything..not at all, but b/c I like cities with good public transport (plus the cost of living is usually cheaper etc.), Southern France (as I speak french) and Spain (don't speak any spanish (yet..?), but I've been to Spain before and it was simply amazing) before...and Tokyo/Hong Kong/NYC as places to definetly see (I'm from germany)...Is NYC really as great as anyone says (as a place to see)?
Anyways, any input (about other places or whatever) is highly appreciated....as well as any other useful information considering travelling (I for example have found out, that it's a whole lot cheaper to book a flight and a hotel room by yourself on the internet plus use public transport (if its good) to get to your hotel, b/c nobody charges you a whole lotta extra money without doing anything for you other than booking the damn vacation).....
How are youth hostels, though? I've heard they were more like cheap hotels nowadays?
