A few weeks ago I saw a facebook post by a local painter who announced he was no longer allowed to sell his artwork because he was getting divorced. I thought to myself, WTF?

Your wife owns your brain

Any artwork you create during your marriage is jointly owned by your wife. You basically lose your copyright. Your craftsmanship is legally viewed as a mutually shared asset, even though YOU made it entirely YOURSELF.
