New to the game and I have a lot to learn, but bare with me. Need some advice.

Friday night, I go to a club/bar i've never been to and waitress approaches my table and I strike up a conversation after we've exchanged names...
me - i've never been here before and wondering could you tell me how this place is..
her - i'm new here too, i just moved here and started two weeks ago.
*light bulb turns on...*
me - Oh really, how do you like it here and have you had anyone to show you around town ?
her - I like it here alot, and no i dont...do you wanna show me around ?...(Hey ! i was suppose to offer that to you !!)...i'm off on sunday.
me - Yeah sure, gimme you number and i'll give you a call and i'll show you around.
I get the number, make a little more small talk then I tell her to get back to work so she doesn't get fired. During the night I run into her again, and she tells me don't forget to call me.
According to the tips on here they say wait 5-7 days to call her, but she gave me a specific date and i thought it would be rude if i stood her up.
Sunday comes along and i give her a ring and it goes straight to voicemail (no rings or anything) i leave a voicemail refreshing her memory with my name and where she met me and what not. After a couple of hours I try again, same result and leave a quick message.
Which leds me to this....I'm guessing she didn't pay her phone bill or what not, and i'm guessing from the previous encounter she's wasn't leading me on. I was planning on sitting on this for a little bit, till say the weekend to see if i get a response. And maybe pay her a visit. She did tell me the exact days she works. Would it look bad apon me to swing by one day ? Or just wait it out ?
