Why weren't YOU starting the parties?
If all the girls in your uni were ugly why didn't you find "cuter" girls elsewhere?
Why didn't you become "the man" everyone went to for parties?
If you would've ended up in the same place if you hadn't gone to a top-20 university, isn't that because you didn't make the most of your opportunities?
Charismatic people DRAW other interesting people to themselves...they don't have to go out of their way to find them.
