"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Go ghost on her now. If she's never initiating, I'm calling that she's fvcking someone else and is keeping you on the backburner for if her A guy dumps her.
If she doesn't initiate when she gets back, who gives a crap? You've just weeded out a chick who - through her actions - is only mildly interested at best.
Thanks for the opinion.. CWord. Whats your take?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

My take is you're giving too much to this girl too soon, and that includes valuable real estate in your brain. You know why this girl's got you? It's because she has her own stuff going on. She's getting her career in order, things are happening, all very exciting for her. That whole keeping busy/focusing on your mission isn't just attractive on males, it works for women too.

Meanwhile, it appears (whether true or not) that you have less going on. She texts you about how busy and anxious she is, so you call her. You tell her you'll put your night on hold until she figures out what's going on. When she doesn't get back to you, you send her a text for an update.

This girl has a lot going on in her life whereas you are projecting the image that the only thing you've got going on in your life is her.

You'll never get her or any girl like that. At the very least, start faking it until you're making it. Cut back on the texts. Stop calling. Act like you're busy even if you're not. I know that can sometimes be hard to do, because while you're faking being busy you're actually sitting at home dying to fool around with whatever girl. So of course the trick is to actually be busy. Find a new hobby, work on your career, hang out with friends or get sucked into a new TV series on Netflix. And if you can't find enjoyment in any of those things, then simply take solace on the fact that by you not badgering girls you are demonstrating higher value. Let that boost your esteem and that will, in turn, help you to not get so hung up and over-invest in one girl.

Hey Cword, knew you would keep it real. Thanks man.,

Haven't heard from her since that thing on Saturday and I know she's back into town (if she did actually go out of town)

I'm just sticking with No Contact and seeing how it plays out.

Normally Greasy Pig gives solid advice, but I definitely disagree with him here. She flat out said from the jump that she might have to go out of town when Ca was trying to make plans with her. Again to the Sosuave mantra, if she isn't 100% high interest of the bat, she's banging someone else….not true.

I'm not saying you should be blowing up her phone, but you'll get further with women when things liked his don't bother you.

Women will flake on you, throw you for loops, rain on your parade, get mad for no reason etc. You know how you handle all that? By not taking them too seriously, its no big deal. No woman, especially this early on in the dating dynamic should be a priority to you, if they are your setting yourself up for failure.

You want to see her? Hit her up and set up a date. If she flakes or cancels or says she can't with no counter THEN you can confidently say she's not that interested.

But the reality is until you've slept with a woman, don't expect her to take on the man's role of taking charge, initiating and planning when you two will see each other again.

Personally the longer this goes with NC, the more likely it is that you won't see her again.

Well this advice was unexpected. Should I ask for another date?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
