"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

I am 18 now and I still have had no relationship of any meaning, what-so-ever. This past fall when school started I made out with this one girl that I find rather special. Everything was fine until the day after. For several weeks building up to it we had a sound relationship, but it fell apart and I havent spoke to her since.

Since then I have found it hard to find someone else. I still go to highschool Im a senior. It is depressing seeing everyone else off with someone that makes me happy. I have gotten nearly to a relationship a lot the past year but it seems to crumble a lot. Kinda like when your best friend starts to date a girl you have had been more than just friends for months. I'm pretty sure I am doing something wrong but it also has been a series of poor luck.

It does sound rather pathetic, I feel very odd compared to everyone else my age. Not to gloat but I do find my self as pretty popular. I'm not really a quite person in school, I have a lot of male friends and a few female friends. I just seem to lack something when i am dealing with girls.

My main problem seems that I cant open myself up/ I cant meet anyone. --icebreakers-- The hardest part is I dont know where to go to find someone nor do I know what to say to that person/how to approach them. I know its a very broad subject but any suggestions would be nice.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

lol, im a lot younger than that and I already had a gf, how about you? :D

Don't be so desperate to get a gf. The more you work on your game the better your chances are of catching a good bait (although I see that you don't care about quality or waiting patiently since you already went for a who re)

ya, i tried the whole girlfriend thing. but i found i just don't like the committal and i don't like being limited to one girl.

my advice to everyone: stay single, keep your options open. life becomes far to complicated when you stick a female in the middle of it

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

well at least till you get older. You don't want to reach an old age and be a loner still (which should be around age 43 as you mentioned he he) Sooner or later you will want to find "the one." Maybe this won't happen to you we are made different.

Icetea, you sound like a pretty social guy.
That's a good start, it means you've already got most of the social dynamics figured out to a certain extent, you've just got to learn to use them in such a way that women will start to fall for you. It's not that hard, it's just a process of learning.
Now, I know that the DJ bible is there and will most definitely guide you a lot along your way. It's important that you at least read the entire DJ bible and realize the points that they are making, but still remain the person you are yourself.

However, to really increase your success with women, you will need to practice as well.
By practice, I really mean going out of your way to talk to women and to get them to like you. To like you as a person, to like you sexually. The more you do this, the better you will become at it. There is no "guide" to achieving this kind of skill, it's all about practice.

You also seem to talk about other people in your life. Don't do this. That is their life, you're busy with yours. The simple fact that you made the step to come to this board shows that you are willing to work on it, and that single action will make your life a lot more fun and will eventually cause you to be more powerful than they are right now.

Now, I would like for you to give us more information about yourself. It will help us see patterns and tell you what you've been doing wrong, and then try to tell you how to do it right.

When I think about it, it seems that I am in a social rut at the moment. I used to hang out with a core group of friends. 4-6 girls 4-6 males. We all kinda split up and I feel now I have had a hard time meeting new girls.

I think my problem is that I dont know how to go up and start a conversation. any suggestions?

Thanks for your input so far.

Dude, do U play sports? If you do, they can help to be ice breakers. Also, U R a senior in high school. high school is a pretty easy place to meet and mingle with lots of different people. U said Ur kind of popular, so use that. I am in kind of the same thing as you, except I am 17, and i am more of a "take life as it comes" type of guy. When good datable material comes by, I'll take it, but I try not to get down on my luck jus cuz I don't have a girlfriend right now. Just look forward to College, like I do.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I've never had a girlfriend, but I've made out with girls and had sex once. I am now 20 years old. No biggie man. Time to enjoy life! Stop worrying about relationships. Most of them suck at this age anyway.
