Neck in the woods dating (mostly rant)

OK, folks, what do you make out of this: I work for a research field station in a small (I mean, _small_) resort town, 30 miles from the nearest (what passes for a) city. Being such, the female population is either (i) over 40; (ii) under 18 or (iii) out of town. Perfect for ONS, but any...

NEXTing situation? How do I read this?

OK, folks... I'm kinda continuing my earlier "no response to kino" thread. Received an Email from the lady in question. Among fluff talk, she makes the following points: 1. apologizes for being, as she put it, aloof that night, 2. Says she doesn't know what she wants from a...

    No response to kino...?

Went out with that lady I know. Everything was fine, good chat, C&F, etc. BUT..! When I tried kino on her ("accidentally" touching her hand and stroking it) - no response whatsoever. Not like she was pulling back or obviously hated it, though... Anyone had that problem, too?

Sounds like a snake oil testimony...

...but since I started reading this website, "jumped into the pool", and started applyingthose techniques consistently, I got more phone numbers than I can reasonably work (huge change from the year before when I was getting, oh, maybe a dozen numbers a year). Cheers to all the fellow DJ!

Putting the ball in her court

OK, what do you all think? When I call a gal to set a date, and she says she can't do it on a particular day (but doesn't offer any alternative), here's what I say: Me: Look, let me get it straight. You do want to go out with me, but can't? She: No. (If I received that *honest* reply, I...

    "Secret admirer" ploy

Met a lady the other day, got digits - work, that's important. Now, she ain't no CEO, which means she has to work under a boss, which might not like her taking my call. Whaddya think I do? I was thinking of going the "secret admirer" route (described by Jeffrey Ross - for those of ya who think...
