These books are more science,...they aren't PUA or "How-to", but they give the critical foundation to build what you learn from the others on top of.

The woman you are dealing with in any particular moment has to consider you that. God only knows what their personal criteria for determining that will be. It is subjective. Don't waste time expecting it to be consistent across multiple women.

Studies by online dating companies have said that their women members who participated in the surveys consider 80% of men to be below average in attractiveness. But are the men REALLY below average? No. It is just women's screwed up perceptions. But like it or not women are driven by their perceptions,...you aren't going to change it.

So what am I saying for you to do? Just work on making yourself something that you are happy with and take pride in. You will get confidence with that and the confidence will be what people see more than anything else. The women who like you, will like you,...the ones that won't, aren't going to. You focus only on women who show a genuine interest in you when you approach them,...the rest are just "friends & acquaintances". You aren't going to "make" someone like you,...yes you can improve their view of you to a point, but it has limits.
