This crap is up there with studies like "Exercise found to increase intelligence" or "Study shows having sex regularly leads to longer lifespan." In these articles on different "studies", common sense is ignored because the article is trying to draw a reaction out of readers. Only the raw data is cited, and the experiments are usually conducted in a low control, quasi-scientific setup.
This particular article was stupid. It is trying to rile readers up by making them feel victimized. They're suggesting that men's mate selection is beyond their control, as women can determine a man's mating capabilities by the shape of their face. Now, here's where the common sense comes in. Of course men with higher testosterone attract more women, because they stay active, keeping their test levels up, and by being active they tend to be physically stronger and lead an exciting life. And of course chubby, out of shape looking, low-test chumps will make more loyal long-term parents/mates, because it's apparent they lack options and will be loyal and devoted. There's nothing revealing about this study.
