Why learn to lip-read?

Lip reading is a very important skill if you are planning on doing a lot of picking up at nightclubs where there will be loud music... You know how it can get, when she keeps saying the same thing over and over because you can't hear her...

Try watching TV on mute and figure out what they are saying... If you are truly awful (which I must admit I was), use the subtitles so you can get used to the lip movements etc.

Once you really get the hang of this you can really start putting it to use

Anyway lip-reading is definitely not an important skill compared to some other ones you can learn.

i've always wanted to learn how to lip read. very rarely i'll mute and try to read the lips. i barely do it tho cuz i barely watch tv, so when i do, i'm usually trying to actually understand it.
