Even men who are considered good looking pay for it. It's more complex than saying only ugly guys pay for it.Mike32ct said:A lot of guys won't get a hooker because they view it as a sign of "failure.". In other words, "I'm not attractive enough to pull at the bar/club so I have to pay for it."
While I know it's all ego based, I share this view. I'm stubborn in the sense that I'll go through long dry spells or rough patches in my game than pay for it.
However, I don't judge guys that do pay for it. I also agree that hookers provide a valuable service. I'm just saying my ego won't let me do it lol.
I think sex is a want, not a need. Celibate and asexual people don't need sex. At the least, sex is not as pressing a need as food or water.Burroughs said:Sorry guys this is laughable!
You guys are making this waaaaaay too complex.
Sex and food, are among our basic requirements.
Do ANY OF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM GOING TO A RESTAURANT??
No....I didn't think so.
You go to Thomas Keller, or David Chang, or that great sub shop down the street because they have a specialized skill that they are very good at...likewise a sex professional if you're chosing right should be able to deliver a killer performance of pleasure.
are there home cooks as good as restaurant cooks....yes...but you don't go searching for them, that would be inefficient..YOU JUST GO TO A RESTAURANT.
roman soldiers had hookers rationed to them....basic needs...think about it.
Oh and Backbreaker to your point, sex is never free you're just paying in installments Paying upfront for a sex act done right is the biggest BARGAIN you'll ever see.
no one cares about these peopleilikecharlene said:Celibate and asexual people don't need sex.
Meh, I'd rather just do without. I've done without before, it isn't going to kill me. You've said you've done three years and you survived, and those were some peak hormone years.backbreaker said:]But being realistic, for various reasons, maybe because of where you are in life, maybe because you are just in a slump, maybe because you are just petrified of women, not everyone is there at that point in life.
As far as I'm concerned, the difference is that the prostitute has been entered by hundreds of other guys. Like I said before, it's a turnoff. To me, anyway. YMMV.Espi said:The difference being that the prostitute will tell the man UP FRONT how much he is expected to pay.

Catholic priest pedophiles, and Jerry Sanduski completely agree with you.ilikecharlene said:I think sex is a want, not a need. Celibate and asexual people don't need sex. At the least, sex is not as pressing a need as food or water.
Although I doubt I would ever use prostitution, I would have no objection toWilko said:The prostitution thing has been on my mind lately
I would never marry a woman for financial reasons. While it is nice to have someone around to help pay the bills, as often as not women can be a financial drain. I'd say the majority of them don't know how to handle money, and run up debt like mad. You're probably better off sticking to your own budget.Wilko said:How about someone to share the burden of a massive mortgage? Bahaha. Where do I start. I'll just say that I hate any kind of debt and I don't share Joe Public's neurotic obsession with home ownership. Never mind the repercussions when the personal/financial relationship inevitably sours.
Nah, you weren't imagining it.Wilko said:That leaves sex, and something I can only vaguely describe as "good female company", although now I'm starting to think I only ever imagined the latter.
If you find the right girl it's not such a burden. But I definitelly agree spinning plates and dating can be a big pain in the @ss. Just reading this forum will tell you that. I sure don't look forward to getting back out there, if the situation should arise.Wilko said:If only there was a way to enjoy good female company AND sex without all the attendant burdens of a girlfriend, spinning plates, esteem-building, sh!t-tests, etc.
This will happen when men stop trying to be striving pathetic worker bees and start focusing on their own hedonistic pleasure.Wilko said:If only there was a way to enjoy good female company AND sex without all the attendant burdens of a girlfriend, spinning plates, esteem-building, sh!t-tests, etc.
....Hold on a damn minute!
So does Tim Tebow.Rollo Tomassi said:Catholic priest pedophiles, and Jerry Sanduski completely agree with you.
1. It would be like cheating. I prefer to deserve it.backbreaker said:I just don't understand , why men who can't get any or have no experience, hold up their nose against paying for sex.
