I thought about posting pics of my ex wife on this page...but I just can't bring myself to do it. She was 5-2 and went from 115 to 165-170 before we split.

Why? Deep emotional turmoil, terminal depression, really bad stuff.

I met my girlfriend a few months ago, she was at least 12 stone, i'd say she's about 13 stone now or maybe a little over..., she must have developed an appetite for McDonalds or Burger King...But i still accept her for who she is, not because she packed on a few pounds.

Fortunately, when I date women in a similar age bracket, their body is consistent (they are either lifetime fit, or have learned and have been fit for years).

Of all the previous LTR's that I've had over the years, I've never seen one go obese.

I was just snubbed by Linda Rondstadt when I asked her to take a photo with me. She couldn't be bothered... I felt like such a loser! But George Krieger was also there at EG and saw the whole thing. In the midst of my dejection and angst, he jumped over to take a photo!

Also, George did something else very nice for me and my family. When my dad was first diagnosed with cancer, he went over to the racetrack at Laguna Seca (my dad was a race car driver) and had all kinds of people hold up "Get Well Ray" signs... people like Mario Andretti and stuff, so that was awesome -- thanks George ​

I had never heard of Linda, but she was a singer in the 70's.

Women let themselves go most of the time because men let them, ie loss of interest in pleasing the man. Also gets right to the root of the woman's self-esteem and character. Put low self-esteem, a chump man and a long term relationship together, you get fatness.

But some women CAN'T get fat, they have skinny genes or whatever. Those become coke heads. Substitute blow for the food.

Complacency. Happens to both sexes, but probably women faster and more frequently. It's like they are willing to skip meals, snacks, and work out to keep the killer bod, until the man is caught - especially caught as in marriage. Then they let all that pent up food frustration go and blow up like a balloon..
A friend of mine has a unique "deal" with his wife.
If either of them feels the other is getting overweight, they are encouraged to TELL them. I like the idea.

This is a great idea. Perhaps even greater, is that you found a woman these days that will go along. Seems like all of them I meet would throw a mouthy fit about that, then go tell their femn@zi chick- friends. Hopefully someday I will find a decent one!
