When She Wants To Know Your Age

I have gotten the how old are you question on various occassions soon after meeting women including several I have dated.

I recently met a very attractive girl, who following the prevuious pattern, asked me the same thing after knowing her for only 30 minutes, which begs the question: Why are they so obsessed about a mans age? Is it some kind of prequalifier of whether she wants to date /fyck you?

My take on it is if she asks such a personal question early on she is at least considering the possibility and therefor it is a good IOI.

Any thoughts?

ok, get ready for this. From personal experience I found that when most girls ask your age, it means that they want to know your age.

Unless there's some relevance to the conversation (e.g., talking about music from a certain era), most guys wouldn't ask you your age.

Yeah, I'd say it's an IOI/qualifier (though, as you probably know, you should be doing the qualifying).

I've been asked this.

Usually I say things like "Old enough," which implies I'm 21+, which I am.

Or sometimes I've said "How old do you think I am?" After they say I tell them.

A few times I even told the truth right away, but not usually.

Once I even dodged the question.


As for the second question, people have almost consistently guessed older, so I don't know how to feel about that. I've gotten numbers anywhere from 23 to 28. I'm somewhat bothered since I turn 22 in about a week, but it's not a big deal.

This could be why I wasn't carded when I bought my first legal drink, and sometimes I don't get carded at all.


Sometimes I asked why, and I often get answers like "It's how you behave, how you carry yourself." I don't know what to make of that, since I don't try to be fake. I'm just me. I have sometimes said the phrase "Well, I'm/we're not getting any younger," which I suppose is an older man's saying. But, it does encompass how I feel sometimes (like, I don't have a 4 year degree yet).


Perhaps I should start lying about my age.

In my experience, even the late twenties chicks are pretty comfortable with me being 22, the same chicks are okay with my wing being 32. After an hour or two of talking, a 7 year difference does not mean that much. If there is more than 10 years between you or you are not legal, she'll notice you look old or young and be apprehensive. (unless you are 18 or 36 looking 27.)

in my case, i'm 17, women want to know my age because now they know they are dealing with jailbait.
