I've been dating my girl for a few years. She called me up and told me how her and a couple of friends went to the Mall. They were at this particular store. She went up to the employee to ask him a question and completely snapped out on her and said don't you see I'm busy, I'll talk to you in a few minutes. Everyone in the store was shocked the way he came off. They thought it was inappropriate. Of course, she left and she plans on talking to the manager personally about his behavior.

My question is as a boyfriend..when she called me.I listened..called him an *******...a few times and agreed w/ her...that she should go down there and talk to the manager...

Did I respond in a Don Juan way...Any comments on the situations? Thank you..

I concur. Good point.

WWDJD??? Well, he would show her his abs for one. Maybe peacock a little by wearing a silly hat. He would be ****y and arrogant. Maybe tease her about "b******" him later that night. He would definitely get her mother's address and try and hit the milf up later. Then when he reached 30 he would come on here and post whether or not a 28 year old was too young for him. He would probably have some equation worked out about how at his age 28 is okay, but 27 is pushing it. Finally, he would supply us all with youtube videos about DJ techniques. Kinda like this one: http://youtube.com/watch?v=nLvcTRP3RCs

Hope this helped.

That is what I am saying...is he did yell at my girlfriend....At least, that is what she told me...She said if he would have said it in a nice manner...It would have been cool...but he said it in a threatening manner...She even said a few the people at the store...whispered to her...What is wrong with that guy....

I was just asking...Did I respond appropriately....? What there any more I could have said or done...?

GF's tend to exagerate a bit... So she didn't get the level of service she expected..

I'm sure she has better things to do with her time then to go back and complain... Just use this incident as an excuse to tease her. " so he made you cry like a baby... thats ok... you say the word and his life is no more"

Well you weren`t there so WTF? Deflate that chick drama baloon, outcome is - some overworked clerk told her he was busy... and all.

Other question is if you would have been there.
I time and again found it basic that you stand behind your chick in every situation, even if she is downright outrageously insanely wrong, when third persons are involved you have to back her up or you will lose infinitely in her eyes. To me this didnt come naturally as I am not a protective guy and tend to analyse situations rationally. If you are one on one later, you can whup her ace for pulling that shyt, thats another question.

Just tell her to be ****ing angry back. But make sure you sort of convey that you can fight her own battles, you aren't going to babysit and be all "Aww poor you".

You never tell your chick bluntly to get over herself especially when you are not involved. Chicks tend to care way to much on their reputation's and what other people say about them. 30 years from now this chick will still remember that guy and bring him up in conversations.

I agree. Women tend to have tunnel visions regarding situation's of this nature and your girl may not have seen or does not want to see how her own involvment may have caused the guy to snap on her(although he was wrong himself for doing so). Every time I hear a girl say "someone did this and this to me and I never did anything to them" I know and seen too much to believe their claim's entirally. I say forget about him and take your girl out for ice cream or something.

If you weren't there, you don't get involved in a situation like that. It happened to her so reporting it to the manager is the way to go. The best policy in dealing with "after the fact" situations is to follow legal/policy protocol.

A few years back there was this drunk an obnoxious girl who spit on this guy for no reason at all. He was sitting on the front steps of the apartment building they both lived in. He was talking to another person about nothing rude...he was a great person, kind, nice and never rude. After she spit on him he looked up at her and said "Wow...you're a pig." in a calm voice. She went upstairs and told her boyfriend God only knows what and he grabbed an aluminum bat and came downstairs and beat the guy she had spit on half to death. He seriously almost died and the boyfriend is still in prison to this day...all for "defending his girlfriend" when she didn't need defending, and in this case, certainly didn't deserve it either.

If you are there and see it, then you can speak up if you want to...if you feel you should. But if it's already happened, just follow the proper channels in dealing with it...that's always the best policy.

Depends on what your gf's like man. If she is the upright, trustworthy type and she honestly thinks it was unjustified what this guy did and she can't get over it, then tell her okay, take it up with th guy's manager, and if that gets nowhere offer to get involved yourself.

OR, just offer to handle it from the beginning. Go down there, find the guy, and just say to him "look man, my gf reckons you snapped at her the other day. She's really pyssed off about it. Personally *I* don't give a shyt, but she's goin' on and on about it, so I'm gonna bring her down here and just apologize to her okay?" MOST guys would agree to that. If he doesn't, suggest the same thing to his manager. The manager will almost certainly agree. Then you go down there with your gf, and the guy apologizes, and maybe u give your girl a few moments to chew him out, but then if she keeps going on and on about it, YOU have to shut her up, and tell her "babe, the guy APOLOGIZED, let it go". And if she goes all psyco and keeps yelling at him, then your gf is a fkking stupid bytch and I don't know waht to tell you except good luck.

On the other hand, if you already know ur gf is a drama queen and she's probably exaggerating the whole thing, or leaving key parts of the story out (like she actually abused him first), then just say to her "did u tell him to get fkked?"

If she says yes, then u say good.

If she says no, then u say "well you should have".

Either way, end of the matter.

And why wouldn't you? Granted, this situation doesn't warrant that type of behaviour. The girl has a right to be angry about it. But NEVER? Are you some kind of wimp? Too scared to tell your girl the TRUTH about a given situation? A chump?

Fact is, there are several, and I mean SEVERAL, times in your relationships where you are going to HAVE to tell a girl to get over herself and be blunt. Because if you don't, you'll get walked all over.

****

To the threadstarter:

What do you do? You LISTEN to her. Emphathize with her. And leave it at that. This is not your battle. This is HERS. If she asked you if you think she should talk to the manager, then tell her what YOU think.

In my opinion, she probably should, but don't suggest that. Let her come up with her own plan of action, and then you can either support it or disagree with it as you choose.

In reality she only needs one thing from this: And that is for you to LISTEN to her. That's it. And you did that. So leave it at that.

Forget the people telling you to go down there and talk to them yourself. IT'S NOT YOUR BATTLE. It's hers. Let her do her thing and you stay the hell out of it.

lol chicks like to be treated like a little girls.

See she is feeling bad. Feeling bad= not in the mood for sex which = I will have to wack off tonight and I won't be happy either. Taking her out for icecream and telling her to forget about it = she is feeling better because of the sweet icecream which = in a mood for sex = both of us will be happy.

End of story.

Every situation is different. I don't need to raise my voice or be angry like a little b1tch and tell my girl to get over herself. I don't get involved with other chicks drama therefore I never need to tell women to get over themselves, they can let their big mama say it. If a girl brings too much drama into my life then I drop her for another, its that simple. Granted there are situations where you can tell your girl to get over herself but if the situation does not involve me then why should I get involved? she is a big girl, she can take care of her own problems.
