Why are men who are basically rationally-thinking humans so convinced that "if you don't do X, you are not a man" makes any sense?

Being a man means having XY chromosomes. Gay humans who have XY chromosomes are male aswell as those who want vaginas.

By this logic, gay men are not men or male.

Why does nobody realize the retardation in claiming that being a man or male was bound to certain behaviors?

When guys are talking about being a man, they are not speaking literally it is a figurative conversation. With that being said it is generally a favorable male trait to conduct yourself in ways that symbolize/suggest/display strength. Because men like that kind of thing, because the people that real men admire behave in this way. So men that want to be the best they can be will try to imitate this behavior...

Engaging in sexual behavior with another man is not considered manly because the participants are basically taking turns filling the role that typically a woman would. Also popular homosexual culture endorses flamboyant feminine behavior further creating an overt difference in the behavior of heterosexual males and homosexual males. Additionally, sexual acts between two men are only for pleasure no practical benefit can come of it, no child can be produced. So you have a whole subculture of men engaging in activities (sexual and otherwise) that serve absolutely no practical purpose other than to pleasure themselves. Many pedophiles are also homosexual. Men that have been sexually abused may turn to homosexuality also. These facts also support the idea that homosexuality is something that guys who can't deal with their lives may turn to. A refuge for the weak per se.

Where would we be now if our greatest inventors just stopped doing what made them great and started worrying about parades or scarves or shoes or anal sex or blowing other dudes? All things that serve no purpose or benefit to the world. Most of the best things in this world were made by dudes that dedicated themselves to their trade, not their a-ss.

That is why a gay dude is not considered a man by men. He generally just doesn't have what it takes to be a true leader of men.

I feel I should add that these things are generalizations, i'm sure that there are exceptions that exist to many of the things I write here. One exception does not disprove a theory.
