Both embody some vision of male perfection. Tyler is like the ultimate 'man'. Cool, down to earth, rough and tough.

Bateman, at least in terms of the image he presents, is cool, smooth, sociable, and good with women.

Who do you think would be a better model for DJ behavior. I'm personally a lot like Bateman, what with the whole sociopath thing. Tyler...meh...everyone seems to want to emulate him, but usually it ends up with some 'fight club'.

i question the sanity and motives concerning ANYONE that emulates a fictional character or refers himself to one.
Tyler Durden? NO...the real Tyler Durden is more cool,
calm and indifferent.
Owen Cook is nothing more then a glorified 'slim shady'..
he has good material no doubt..but the whole TD thing is
really stupid if you ask me... come on.
it's like calling yourself Yoda or refering yourself as Neo and
asking people if they see the Matrix or if they wish they had
swallowed the blue pill...
sorry to say this, but just talking about pick up or being
'cool' kinda demistifies the entire process and makes it
even 'less cool'.. but thats just my opinion...

:D

Bateman is the 'American Psycho' guy -right?
if so- i can relate... Narssistic, perfectionist to a fault, absoultly
psychotic and detatched in everyway-
and still amazing with woman...

I don't know what you are talking about before "...Bateman".

But yeah...er...I relate to Bateman on so many levels. The main difference is that he's ****ing disgusting...

But moving back on topic, which do you think would be a better kinda...role model in terms of DJ style.

what i meant is that i question ANYONE that adapts the persona
of a fictional character and 'becomes' them.
that's just weird...Owen Cook is TD's real name.

Clooney is an awesome example of a DJ, Brad Pitt is the definition of the ****y/arrogant type,
Antonio Banderas seems like the classic DJ, romantic hero,
seducer,artist type.
Matthew Mconahay is also a good example...

Well, fictional characters can be just as real, if not more, than actual people. They are fake, but they are representative of real people.

it's just odd when you take the persona as one and 'become'
that person .

the TD in fight club is clearly the most DJ i can think of..
****y, indifferent, arrogant, a leader and way off the charts!
he is the poster boy of 'peacocking'!

TD of RSD is cool ,but by no means anything like the REAL
TD of Fight Club..

Im sorry but you guys are clowns for the mere fact of comparing TD (Owen) from RSD (PUA coach) to a TD in FightClub a fictional character who has NOTHING to do with PU or seduction.

Whats next? Mystery VS Jim Carey?

TD from RSD IS actually based on TD off of the movie
Fight Club....it's a fact :D

much like in hollywood IMAGE really IS everything and people
DO buy into that IMAGE as the first impression when they
first meet you. So would'nt it be in your best interest to
display your best image?
Clooney, Pitt and Mconahay all have a charismatic way of
carrying themselves that conveys 'attractiveness' that we
could all learn from-in terms of displaying an image that
people buy into.

The city that sleeps. Sometimes.
f you guys think that TD (from fight club) or patrick bateman are actually cool or DJ, you fvcking need a lot of help.

they are both provocateurs if anything, thats it. neither is a complete human being, an evolved man, or whatever. They are just edgy and different and are bad boys which you could never be and therefore they are cool to you nerds so you think they are so damn awesome.

Yes I knew this back in 2002 when TD (Owen, not TD from Fightclub:)) joined mASF board to post PU and learn seduction.
He chose that name because TD from Fightclub was an exceptional character with really ****ed up and interesting values and qualities, many guys like Fightclub, hence he chose the name to get more attention.

so what exactly IS a 'model' Don Juan?
everyone DOES know the true definition of a DJ and his
true motives and where it stems from-right?
if they did'nt- they'd be mighty dissappointed and change
their ways in a second i'd like to bet...

...enlighten me
