The most amazing AFC behavior I've ever seen

I have a couple of friends who are mid-thirties. They have been a couple now for about a year or so.

The woman has an ex who she claims is now gay. The ex is apparently decent looking but very wealthy. He goes to Vegas or Nassau at least once a month to play blackjack and she goes with him. They stay in the same room.

And somehow, she has convinced her boyfriend that her ex cannot know that she has a boyfriend because it would hurt him. When she's around her ex, she refers to her bf as her "friend", and her boyfriend knows that. I heard them discussing it the other night.

So to recap, this guy:

- allows his gf to go off on regular trips to Vegas or the Bahamas with her ex
- accepts that she will not tell her ex that she has a boyfriend

Unreal.

I'm a recovering AFC but maybe I'm not as bad as I thought. She would get kicked to the curb HARD in less than 3 seconds.

That is just sad.

Possible. My friend who is a girl had her bf do the same thing 'cause his roommate liked her. Not sure if that is a legit excuse.
