Women know that it's the size of the cake, whether or not her dress matches her shoes perfectly, whether her bouquet matches the brides maids dresses, whether or not they have quail instead of chicken at the rehearsal dinner, whether her stepfather allows her biological father to walk her down the aisle and countless other wedding day worries. The fact is that people put more planning into the wedding than what they plan for the marriage.

and instead of planning the silly stuff that only lasts a few hours, they should be planning when they should open joint accounts or hang onto separate ones, when they should buy a house and where, how long they plan to work and what they plan to do and when they plan to retire, how many offspring to have and when or if none at all....
they should be planning on how to handle crisis's.
how they should handle living together and making it work, how to grow closer together and not apart.
they should plan how they can deal with if the other gets deathly ill or dies suddenly or if they live to the ripe old age of 97 and how they will manage then.

That's why everyone should get a PRENUP before getting married and not rush into it. I have no respect for people who get married before turning 21... and then having a kid. How do you expect to pay all the bills when you don't even have a college degree? Raising a quality kid is a full-time job.
