Wow its cool to see that there are some more people out there that like techno. Most people I talk to thing techno is crap. It is a lot more popular over in Europe than it is in the U.S.

If you really want to dive deep into some good techno, I suggest getting a few MIX cds of your favorite DJ's, and checking out the artists who they play. I've found so much more good music this way than anything else. Trust me, their are some mint gem tracks waiting to be found if you just look, a little deeper.

I prefer the original Sandstorm to that mix, the Armenian doesnt satisfy me. Tis a nice anthem though.

Because almost every techno/house DJ is European... and, I say it with pride, the best ones are Italian Check out Prezioso, Gigi D'Agostino, Benny Benassi, Molella...

Your all probably going to laugh at me when I tell you my favorite band is Scooter, you know, that infamous German Techno band most people seem to hate.

Anyways, it might make my list a little biased bit what the hell;

Scooter: I'm Raving - Taucher Remix ( Trust me, this actually a quality mix )

O - Zone: Dragostea Din Tei - L Project Klubb 2.4 RMX ( This is from a polish producer on the net, great stuff he did with this track )

Yup, BT is the man as far as trance goes, Paul Oakenfold is right there with him as far as skill goes.

I wonder if the two have ever beat-battled?

Also, the only two artists that I have to throw in the mix are Wumpscut and Das Ich they are German techno-artists, borderlining on "Terror-trance".
