I have seen a lot of threads on this forum where someone is trying to get a girl, and he has been back and forth with her for weeks, months even. They have a detailed account of every IOI and IOD, and they are trying to figure out if she likes him.
The thing is they could have found out for themselves by just going for it. By this point they probably have possibly been friendzoned and/or have oneitis. One of the best pieces of advice I have gotten on this forum is "Assume the sale." You think she likes you? Ask her out right then. If you're on a date with her, assume she wants your touch; assume she wants to kiss you. This keeps you in a good frame of mind, which will improve your inner game.
