I was in the grocery store this morning and they were blaring this song very loudly. It's by Fastball I think:

Ugggh. I nearly crawled out of my skin, it made me feel so squicky.
Perfect example of the media and rock songs teaching us all how to be oh so AFC. And to think people actually pay to listen to this garbage.
But seriously, it was making my skin crawl.

Tal Bachman, actually. But if I'm not mistaken he is the offspring of one of the guys from Bachman Turner Overdrive.


This song was a lot cooler when I only heard the first part of the chorus....

"She's so HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH......"

Seriously. I didn't pay much attention to it when it came out because I was a metal guy. I didn't listen to FM radio. I thought it was a song about getting high until I was forced to sit down and listen to the rest of it and wasn't able to change the station.
