How aggressive? I normally am as aggressive as I feel I can be without being kicked out of her life. You have to be careful with this sort of behavior though, it could be considered harrasment if it is not welcomed(in fact one girl I worked with, who ended up being my gf for 2 years, other people would often comment that if she ever made a case that they would back her up.)

How long? You know alot of guys here will say get in, if it doesn't come quick, get out. I actually don't agree with this. I think you should try as long as you want and she hasn't made it clear that you shouldn't, just be honest with yourself and her about your intentions.

unfortunately the "escaping the friendzone" is not a process that is easy like all the other DJ techniques... this actually requires alota time and effort from the guys...which is probably why this post is somewhat frowned upon by the DJ community.

I dont work with her and we're only in University... so im not worried about the harrassment, i am however careful to not scare the living daylights out of her. looking like a perv or something.

I plan on giving this a month or two for this to work out but am very aware that this is a grey area of the Don Juan. we just started to 'hang out' together for a week or two. before that we were just acquaintances really. i know for a fact that she likes to play around with me.

Apprentice: No offense bro but your fighting a losing battle here. Touch is one of the biggest ways people communicate their interest/attraction/comfort level with another person. If a girl isn't comfortable with you touching her then she's simply not comfortable with the idea of you and her being anything more than friends. You will end up wasting an incredible amount of time trying to convince this girl that she should like you, when you could learn how to be the guy that gets the girl from the start, rather than the "friend" first.

If you want to keep pursuing her then do what you think is best, but guys never get girls by chasing them, they get girls by attracting them and watching the girl chase.

Generally I'd take that as a good sign, but it really depends just how drunk she was and nothing is certain.

However, I recommend that you don't read too far into minor details like that. It won't help you.

one trick is this.

get the "friend" girl to do something for you like help paint your room. Women love that stuff.
