I dont know if its just me but i notice women who live alone with a cat are basket cases? They have alotta problems

Depends on how old and how many cats.

One or two isn't a problem. If she's got like 15 of them, or if she has a cat and coddles it like it's her goddam baby...then I'd be a little careful.
