There was recently a post on MC's and, well, it's allways the same whining on .. well.. you know.

So, anyways, I was wondering, what songs you recommend that have great beats, even if they're poppy or something.

I'm talking about songs like

50 cent - Disco Inferno
Too Short - Burn Rubber
The whistle song
The whisper song
Jay Z - Big pimpin'

But I'd want you to post some songs that talk about hos and all... Not like, Ludacris, with that song about pimpin all around the world... I want some dudes talking about getting shot, having some 3 different hos at their home, their killer cars, you know...

Thanks!

Anything from The Minstrel Show (little brother). 9th is a freakin incredible as a producer. You can go wrong with anything from Jay-Z's the blueprint and Kanye West albums (even though he's a ****ty lyricist). Also, Biggies Big Poppa has a very nice beat.

no not all of it.
but its not worth it.

rap for the most part is detrimental.

and ive someone doesnt believe that..theyve never strolled threw one of the local ghettos...where is cliche to dress how rappers dress
act how rappers act
talk how rappers talk
and do the things they claim to do.

sell drugs, use and buy gats(guns).
its pretty sad actually.

It's pretty cool how the black population feels the need to perpetuate the stereotype.*sarcasm*

I agree, Circus Music is one of the most amazing songs I've ever heard. DJ Quik is a musical genius.

I also recommend anything produced by DJ Battlecat, Dr. Dre, or Fredwreck.

I agree with you that there is alot of ****ed up rap music, but did you know that almost every country has its own hiphop community in its own language?

Do you understand another language than english? Check it out.

Cruise-

not as bad as rap..the lyrics arent as bad.

and thats overwith..that was a 1980's thing..and yes a lot of white kids in america acted a fool cause of it.

now days the following of heavy metal in america is much smaller..very small.

thats not the point...the entire african american society in america started a big downfall when rap came out...well lets say when it was expodited and glorified.

so now white kids from the Burbs roll with there HOT beats..while some black kid is getting shot over some sneakers or a bag of pot..because its the way of life :)

give me a break..where do these kids get theses ideas?

Rap.

i cant really understand what you said here due to spelling errors and stuff. But am I correct in paraphrasing your post as "There are people who rap about things that they dont live in real life"?

If so, I have to argue with you on that one. I think that the media already fvcks things up by rewarding the people that do bad by publicizing them too much. IE: rappers go to jail as like a pre-emptive strike in their quest to do big record sales.

Look at lil kim. Because she got jail time she got her own tv show, pushed an album and has watched her sales skyrocket.

Cassidy is gonna have his sales rocket after his shooting incident too.
Saigon got stabbed or something the other day
Obie Trice got shot or something?

Its people living the life, but they arent any better than the people who arent. It would be better if people stopped glorifyin violence as opposed to only rapping about it if you live it
