Hi,

Does it mean anything if your ex-girlfriend sends you a text message on your cell phone telling you that they finally have a cell phone, and wanted to say hi. Why would she text me? knowing that she would give her new number to me.

A lot of people send a mass text to everyone in their phone book when they get a new cell number. Just because she doesn't mind you having her new number doesn't necessarily mean anything. Just means she's not so sour at you that she never would want to speak to you again.

It's not something I would personally put too much though into, but if you wanted to make something happen you could always send her a short text back to say hi and see if anything comes of it.

yea it wouldnt even reply to it, if she really wants to talk, she'll call or txt a more serious msg other than "I GOT A CELL PHONE!"
