Guys,

My body is pretty toned up and you can see just about every muscle on my upper body, I keep my legs thick and butt thick as well (girls seem to love my a s s for some reason lol).

But I'm having problems with the lower fat around my stomach area, my body fat percentage is excellent, I'm thinking I have water retention.

Do you guys think I should use diuretics for awhile to rid the excess water? There's a number of products from Bodybuilding.com sort of like:

Xpel
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/mhp/xpel.html

Taraxatone
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/cyt/tara.html

Diraxatone Extreme
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/fight/di.html

They all are great and used for reducing water retention. Plus this article on Bodybuilding.com talks about my problem being more likely than not, water retention:

So guys, do you think I should go this route? Keep in mind, I have a low bodyfat percentage, I don't think upping cardio, burning more fat, etc. is going to change much because my gosh, how much more fat do I have?

I'm sure I read an article by Poliquin saying stress can lead to fat storage under the navel. So makesure that isn't the case.

Post your rough diet as well and how much is in the form of carbs/protein/fats. Without more information it is hard to advise a solution. It sounds like lowering carbs may be the ticket though. But post your diet.

try drinking more water -- if you're not getting enough, the body may retain whatever it's getting -- giving it more to work with, though counterintuitive, may reduce bloat.

another possibility is lactose intolerance -- it's not all or nothing. you may feel fine after dairy but end up bloated. try cutting back on milk products.

otherwise, it may just be the last thing to go on you genetically. how much fat do you think you've lost on your way down?

uh.. water retention? wtf?

have you ever considered you're just a bit pudgy around the mid-section?

apparently the last place you loose fat is you stomach

the fat has gone off your arms so keep at it and itll come of your stomach

this isn't the hard truth, its what i've heard from hear-say around the gym
