Is it supposed to be read over the course of several weeks for any special reason, or can I just read it in a few days?

Also, other than reading topics on these boards how exactly should I get started towards becoming a DJ? I woudl guess reaidng the DJ Bible is the first step, and then should I DO A BOOTCAMP OR SOMETHING? Is there any other free materical on the web that I should read that might add something this site doesnt? BAsically I need some sort of syllabus.

read it over the course of several weeks and then complete the bootcamp.

that's basically the best way to do it

I joined sosuave when there was no bootcamp, so I had to learn everything without that motivation. Almost every tip in the Tips forum was in the DJ Bible, so I just read all of it over the course of a few days. I occasionally re-read parts of the DJ Bible when I feel the need to work on a certain aspect of my personality.

Over the course of the last year, I rarely read the DJ Bible anymore because I feel that I have gained everything from it (I've been here for almost four years as well).

Desdinova, do you feel the same way that I do?

It is a perfect start for newbies though and I suggest the DJ Bible to everyone as well.

sounds like a plan

when it comes to the holy Word of Pook, though, I'd recommend taking time to meditate on his precepts

yeah, I kinda wish I'd started on the path to Pookdom earlier and ignored a lot of the speed seduction crap. Although I made some improvements my first year after getting here, it wasn't until I got around to reading the Book of Pook and Anti-Dump's Machine that I really saw improvements in my life.

As for the other stuff on this site, it can be good for getting you a little more experience with ladies and a little more comfort in some of the basics (kino, conversation, being playful, etc.). But most of the stuff in the DJ Bible won't help you to become a real man. You'll just improve yourself on the outside...like a freshly cleaned gravesite. To really succeed with the ladies, you have to become a real man. And part of being a real man means not giving a damn about ladies. Paradoxical, I realize.

And you might check out "The Natural Order of Things" while you're at it.
