When you divorced why doesn't she give all the gifts back like jewelry? She got nothing from me in divorce. She will still communicate but when asked for the gifts it is silence. I have been NC for months. I was drunk and set up a lunch date she agreed. I never showed up she texted pissed off haha.

when his income went down, he should have been able to get it reduced.....WTF?
Well, he's trying to get it reduced. Of course she's complaining that he's worth more than he's letting on. Problem is, these guys get divorced while they're big stars and making lots of cash and their support gets set at a sky high rate. Then when the career drops off a bit they're expected to keep shelling it out. One problem is judges expect guys to make what the judges think they should be making - not what they actually make. This prevents guys from sandbagging the system. After all, why work so hard if the wife is just going to take it? But they're stuck.

Part of it is it cost lawyer fees to change the amounts. And many times when you don't have a lot of money you can't even afford to have the amount changed, that's how they get trapped to the last cent.

Kung Fury made me like the guy for the first time.

Other than that, I've seen an interview where he complained he wasn't given enough credit for his part in taking down the Berlin Wall. Gorbachev, Bush, Kohl, Hasselhoff.

Probably false. Chances are he has an army of lawyers and accountants who have helped him to successfully hide his assets. When you're that rich I don't see how you can be that stupid when it really isn't that difficult to hire someone to structure your finances in a way that avoids a doomsday scenario of absolute poverty.

You're probably right. But he does say he's down to $4k in cash, specifically. He didn't say he doesn't have a lot of assets laying around in other forms. Look at this quote:

He admits to grossing $112k a month, but spends $66k. When you add what Pam gets plus taxes and living expenses, he says he saves next to nothing.

What he's saying is his income has shrunk to the point where he isn't able to save, because of the size of the alimony. That's why he wants it reduced. Of course a lot of people these days live paycheck to paycheck, so they may not feel sorry for him.

Assets tend to generate income. That's my point. It's unlikely he doesn't generate enough income from his assets alone to more than cover alimony. That $4k is probably the result of clever accounting rather than legitimately cash stricken circumstances.

The moment top guys like him stop playing the marriage game, women will realize that their demands make more damage to them than help and will accept to review the whole system.

As long as they can get top guys like him or even decent guys to commit and have their money extorted they'll fight and support those who fight for this system, let them have only losers and zetas available for marriage under this condition and the problem will be solved.

Well, profit from the assets aren't necessarily automatically converted to cash, which he is talking about. But that could be one of the accounting tricks you're talking about.

Well now, according to one of my corporations, I'm insolvent a few hundred thousand. Oh, ya, I forgot to mention two solvent trusts that get the tax advantage of the insolvent corp.

Don't buy into it.

Burns 66k a month on luxuries. Argues he can't afford 20k a month alimony.

The math checks out.

Yup, lawyers and accountants worth their salt should be able to reduce a millionaire to social security benefit levels... at least that's what mine would be capable of if i was a divorced millionaire. :D

I don't think she should get a damn thing, but lets keep it real. She is getting about 5% of his income, and this is why he is going broke? lol. Yet he is spending more than half of his monthly income. He's broke because he spends too much!!!..........But that story wouldn't have been as newsworthy!

Some of the best advice I got: marry a good woman that makes more than you

I make six figures, but my ex made a boatload in health insurance work. She pays me alimony now. If the roles ever switched, I would quit work and open a mostly cash business.
