100 bucks isn't bad at all for a 512 meg mp3 player. Needs a screen though.

People will buy it and like the whole shuffle idea until they realize that if they want to hear a specific song, it might take hours to do so. The sad fact is that you have no control over your music, and who knows how well this thing shuffles? I've had many players that replay the same stuff every time you reload the list. The same thing might happen. I expect a buying surge of this and then a drastic tape-off.

Unless, you really do like ALL your music and don't have any preferences to what you hear. I know I don't. All I know is that I busted up my 3rd gen ipod running over the summer, and this would have come into some use.

Anything from Apple will be overpriced.

Lots of better MP3 players out there for less money.

I know I posted this in another topic today but it's just so appropriate.

I can't afford it. All that worthless gigabytes...who would put so much music on their Ipod?

My mobile phone can store 4 hours of music and costs me $50.

Well I have over 20 gigs of music and I'm downloading another 13gig, so I need a lot of space to store my music. Plus I don't like listening to a few songs, I like variety.
