Carry a nail clipper
Adrian Newey, famous aerodynamicist for Formula 1 had this problem and he would put bandages on his finger tips.
This isn't very realistic when you're out and about but it can potentially help you when you are just chilling at home.
When you're out an about, maybe try putting some mild cologne on your finger tips so the offputting taste may deter you from biting them.
