my goal is to meet some people today

any tips on creating a social circle? i moved far away from home to get away from negative friends, drug abuse, alcoholism and what not... now i want to meet some people the real way... how do i construct my social circle here? my best spot for meeting people is the college setting, i've got to talking to people but i don't know how to move it from just talking into making activities to chill and whatnot outside of school... i've been in college for a month and no luck help me out guys.

Start getting numbers from guys ....girls basically anything with 2 legs. Join clubs . Lots of clubs in college to join find one or 2 with common interest. Find out the local night hot spots.

One rule of thumb I've found to be effective is that when I have small interactions throughout the day to really express care about the other person. That comes through and makes people very open to me. Somehow that opens doors for future meetings and interactions.
