Here's my view on love as it pertains to women:
Love is both an emotion and a risk.
Men take risks. With any risk there is a certain amount of danger involved, so it is important to not take an unneccessary risk.
Love is an emotion that is hard to control. I believe, in fact, it is the hardest emotion to control as a man. It is the most fullfilling emotion and it is the most hurtful.
Love is like fire, it can keep you warm and coszy but it can also burn you.
This is why the most important rule is to protect your heart.

Love if it does exist on a romantic level seems to always have a way of fadeing away.And it seems to usually do this about 7-8 years into your realionship or marriage.People do have a really unrealistic view of what love is nowdays.Part of love is about money, part of it is about how they treat you ,and the other part is do you really want to start over??? Someone on here said find someone you like and are compatible with and forget about love
