wtf??? there's nothing spectacular in dreams, it's a tight beat with a very good flow, but there's nothing catchy about it... not classic material if you ask me.

you want a rap song with flow that kills game's? get "the uppercut" from 2pac's *latest* album (cause I know those will keep on coming... ). He's still killing it while he's dead ;)

Lately I've been listening to more and more R&B and reggaeton. Among the one who have been in my playlist quite often:
Rik Rok - Some Gal Hot
112 - U Already Know, My Mistakes, & If I Hit (3 songs)
Daddy Yankee - Aqui Esta Tu Caldo, Yo Voy, Mirame, & Lo Que Paso Paso (4 songs)
Marques Houston - Heartbreaker
Akon - Moonshine (this is the kind of song 7th graders would discuss as a cool conversation topic, I'm still listing it cause it's fun to listen to)

That's it for now! Later.

camron - eyes of the beholder. NOW this is the best rap mainstream song to come in years. it comes at the end of the 'down and out' video.

I don't know the name of this rap dong but it's R&Bish and 1 line goes, "Anything that you wanna do, I'll do it."....I like that song

I'm also down with Mike Jones, he's got a catchy style

Dream Theater - These Walls, Panic Attack, Never Enough, and Sacrificed Sons. Octavarium is kicking my ASS!

Porcupine Tree's Trains, Arriving Somewhere But Not Here, Start of Something Beautiful, Heartattack in a Layby, and Strip The Soul have also been getting heavy play by me.

I've just been on such a Dream Theater and Porcupine Tree kick lately! Addiction I think...

"Never Be My Man," by The Nice Device (excellent Detroit sort of punky/new wavey power pop band).

"Girl's Talk," by Dave Edmunds. Phenomenal, clever & catchy Elvis Costello composition.

I also just came across a sort of eastern-influenced progreesive goth band called Analog Missionary on MySpace. Mesmerizing...

I'm going old school with 1980s hair metal:

Van halen: Right Here Right Now
Van halen & sammy Hagar: Where Eagles Fly

Sammy Hagar: winner takes it all
Survivor: eye of the tiger

I listen to mainly Rock...classic rock, 80's rock, some metal. And frankly, "new" rock blows. They occassionally have a good sound to them: then the damn "singer" starts and ruins everything with his ball-less Creed voice.

Download some stuff by Nightwish. They're a heavy metal band in Finland (I believe). They're not popular in the US, but they rock the ba11s off most bands out there. The music is heavy, and you have this chick singing that has an opera-sounding voice.

I've also been listening to a ton of Saigon Kick. Too bad they disbanded as they were an awesome, under-rated band :(
