I'd like to see you guys thoughts on this. Is it even possible to be C+F with just typing?

Adding a smiley is usually pretty lame. They should be able to tell what's a joke by context.

At first, I was thinking go with the smiley since sometimes a coy remark can be taken one or two ways. But you have me thinking about it, and now I think I agree with you. Reflecting on it, I could see the wink or smiley conveying that one's trying too hard. Perhaps its even worth the risk to just have the ****y part only, than ****y + dork.

Yeah i agree now. Earlier, i was thinking it was just cute and a way to show a little softness. But I think i'm sold now; its more dorkey than cute.
