Actually, the best perfumes come from France and Italy (Dior, Chanel, Givenchy). And, yes, I know that the French used to make perfume to cover their unwashed body smells, but nowadays perfume should enhance your natural clean body fragrance, not drown out the smell an unwashed body.

If you're right and Americans smell better (the American tourists here often smell like they bathed in cheap cologne), then it's still fine for me, because women tell me often that I smell delicious, so I don't have that much competition...
