I have my doubts that Alpharomeo has ever actually talked to a girl.

That said, I've seen Derren Brown on one of his TV shows (Mind Control, I think). He's a pretty good mentalist/magician, and he does some interesting subliminal stuff. I find mentalism stuff interesting, because it kind of blurs the lines between magic and reality - somehow it comes off as less cheesy than a regular magic trick. As for Alpharomeo, remember Mystery started out as a magician, so if he's good with this stuff why not use it?
