How to change way of thinking?

I've read the DJ bible and a lot of the more interesting posts here. I agree that the best way of attracting women is to change your way of thinking, but that advice seems pretty rhetorical. How exactly does one go about doing this? I can tell myself that I am the prize all I want, but that doesn't change the fact that I feel insecure and don't really believe that.

Suggestions? I've achieved that mental state before, but I have trouble maintaining it.

It doesn't matter what you think about yourself.

It matters what she thinks about you.

Don't just tell yourself you're the prize. I don't think that will ever work.

You've got to work from the ground up. Write out a list of all your 'bad' qualities, it might make you feel rough but it'll be a weight off your mind.

Go through them one by one and work out what you can do to improve them.

Then most importantly, work on doing those things. Remember there's no miracle, it's going to be gradual
