and even people that knew you growing up
I mean the ones that just won't back away no matter what you tell them and persist on trying to be a part of your life. They use every tactic in the book to get your attention and be a part of the life you have built, no matter what you do they persist.
Because I grew up in a poor part of a big city urban area and managed to make it out, I had to deal with a lot of poisonous personalities. Problem is that when I visit my old city to see my family I still have to run into a lot of those personalities who use every trick in the book to try and get something out of me (at times even violence and anger).
How do you deal with those kinds of personalities?
