I get that you like older women. I do also.

But why the heck would you want to go above 65 or even above 40+ ?

I don't get it. Do you like grannies?

Dude you are 32. Wake up.
So you like older women, yet think I should draw the cutoff at 40? If 40 is your idea of an older woman, I take it you're younger than me (40, while technically older than me, isn't even a decade older. That's nothing).

My dead serious reason of preferring 45-65: Old enough that pregnancy ranges from unlikely to impossible, yet young enough I still find her attractive.

Even in my early 20s, I got with a 54 year old. In my early 30s, my upper limit has gone up by about 10 years.

I've noticed since Covid that older women are going after younger men in increased numbers. I used to never have any problems with women close to my age.... Mid 40s to mid 50s.... but now, I've had women my age get turned off because we are the same age.

It is what it is, nothing we can do about it. It's a combination of several factors... but the biggest is that older women are no longer shamed for dating much younger men. I have a couple of female friends, one that is 45, the other 39.... and they will not hook-up with any men that are older than their late 20s.

But yeah... older women are better. Women in their mid-30s and lower are just too much chaos and BS.

Yikes, even I'm too old for the ones with a late 20s cutoff.

In general though, that's good to hear older women are going for younger men in increased numbers.

Update on the topic of older women:

I mentioned on the thread that my next door neighbor (a woman in her early 50s) ran into me with the escort on Saturday.

Yesterday, my neighbor asked if that was a date. I said "Sort of." My neighbor said "Either it was or it wasn't."

Next, I told my neighbor "Out of respect for the woman's privacy, I don't want to elaborate."

My neighbor replied "You don't even want me to know?" (I have the type of relationship with my next door neighbor where we share a lot with each other)

At this point, she basically badgered me into admitting the woman came over for casual sex (and of course I never mentioned the escort part). One thing I made sure to mention, however, is the fact the woman I brought home the other night is 46 (a social cue that I'm into older women). My neighbor's response? "Nothing wrong with an older woman"

I prefer women in the 45-65 age range (I might even be willing to go above 65 on a case-by-case basis).

Is there anything different about the approach a man should use when trying to get a woman significantly older than himself?
Ask her how it feels to be menopausal, invisible to society and a great great grandmother. That should get her turned on.

IF that doesn't work, tell her not to dye her hair and keep it white. Mmmmm.....baby.

A 45-65 year old woman in 2024 is either a Generation X'er or a Boomer. They both grew up in different eras. The oldest Millennials will start to turn 45 between 2026-2030.

Generation X and Boomer women were more likely to get married and more likely to have children than the 1980s born Millennial women. 1980s born Millennial women were more likely to get a bachelor's degree or higher and pursue being a Girl Boss.

Middle age will look different for Millennials than it did for Generation X or Boomers.

Right now, there are plenty of Gen X and Boomers moms on dating websites and apps getting plenty of attention from men near their own ages. While menopausal women 20-35 years ago might have been nearly invisible, it is not quite like that today. A 50 year old woman today gets plenty of attention using tech-based dating methods.

Doing the math, a 65 year old was born in the late 1950s (older than my parents, as well as older than all of my aunts and uncles). On the other hand, a 45 year old was born in 1978 or 1979; nearly a millennial. While both demographics grew up differently than I (born in the early 90s) did, I'd venture to say there's a huge difference between the upbringing of a 1959 baby vs a nearly millennial 1979 baby.

As for the fact tech-based apps have made 50 year old women less invisible than they were in past generations, that's one downside of technology I suppose (I have more competition than I would if I was a 32 year old in 2004 trying to get with a 50 year old woman)

I've found older women seem to have more stamina. They'll ride you. Younger women orgasm too quickly.
"Younger women orgasm too quickly."

HMM, Is that a bad thing???

There is a difference between 1958-1959 births (Boomers 65 right now and about to turn 65) and 1978-1979 births (Gen X'ers 45 right now and about to turn 45).

A 1958-1959 year born woman likely got married in the 1980s and had kids in the 1980s-1990s (some Millennial). She probably got divorced in the 1990s. She might be a grandma now. If she had a son, her son born in the 1980s-1990s is likely to have struggled in the mating market and might even be a borderline incel. Her daughter is likely a Girl Boss who is likely around 35 and having her 'Last Call' 1-2 babies.

A 1978-1979 born woman might be never married but probably did get married in the 2003-2011 era. She's more likely to have a bachelor's degree than the 1958-1959 Boomer woman. She might have been a Girl Boss herself, as a late Gen X'er has some things in common with an early Millennial (1981-1985 birth). Late Gen X'ers did have better social and economic experiences than the 1980s born Millennials, but they didn't get as good of a deal as the Boomers or 1st half of Gen X.

As for the fact tech-based apps have made 50 year old women less invisible than they were in past generations, that's one downside of technology I suppose (I have more competition than I would if I was a 32 year old in 2004 trying to get with a 50 year old woman)
A 50 year old divorced Boomer woman in 2004 would have struggled to get much attention in the mating marketplace. In 2004, online dating websites were just becoming de-stigmatized. There were more 24-34 year olds using online dating websites in 2004 as compared to people in their early 50s. A 50 year old woman in 2004 would have needed a stronger social circle of similarly aged divorcees to find a longer term relationship.

As you illustrated, a 45 year old woman is basically an honorary millennial. Seeing as I myself am a millennial, perhaps a better strategy is to focus more on the 45 year olds (as they'd be easier to relate to).

I've been into 45 year olds since I was 20 by the way. The age gap between myself and 45 year olds is rapidly narrowing. Before we know it, true millennial women will be turning 45.

The oldest Millennials were born in 1981-1982. So the earliest Millennials will be turning 45 in 2026-2027.

All women are in some way 'chaotic' and the level doesn't go down with age; drama queens become grumpy harridans, but the level of chaos doesn't really change.

I met level-headed 25yo and crazy 45yo. Age didn't have to do much with mercurial temperaments.

Also, you should not control her chaos. She should control her chaos for you.

When I was in my teens and early 20s, there were women in their 30s/40s who I found attractive. It's common to be physically attracted to an older woman.

Having sex with a substantially older woman is a decent experience once or twice earlier in life, so long as it is a casual sex arrangement and it doesn't prevent you from getting with a woman near your own age. Older woman-younger man arrangements tend to be shorter term. There might be a way to seduce a 35-42 year old woman as an 18-23 year old man.

In life, time is finite and it's difficult to attract big age gaps. Women are at their physical peaks between 18-25 and it is easiest for a man to attract these women while he's under 30.

If you really desire sex with 30s/40s women, the best time in life to do that is during your 30s/40s. Have sex with 30s/40s women who are slightly younger than you are. As a 37 year old man, it is easier to have sex with a 34 year old woman than a 21 year old woman.

Is there anything different about the approach a man should use when trying to get a woman significantly older than himself?

Also, seeing as a decent chunk of that age range is old enough to be my mom, how do I get past the "I couldn't bring myself to do a bedroom session with a guy young enough to be my son" roadblock that a lot of older women have?
There are women who will find it validating to have sex with a man young enough to be her son. It makes them feel better about themselves. There are 35-54 year old women who are very into sex with 18-25 year old men. Find a way to find them. They are more difficult to find as the typical 40-45 year old woman isn't seeking sex with a college aged man.

I've dated women that were 21 that were immature teenagers.

I've dated women that were 71 that were immature teenagers.

The vag is still there. The crazy is still there. Older women play games too. If any of you had a chance to get with a older woman who was attractive or spend 5 more hours playing Crash Bandicoot, you'd all go for the woman, especially if you were gonna smash. Let's not kid ourselves.

I met with a woman on Bumble who was 64, receipt included. I lied about my age since she likely wouldn't have given me the time of day otherwise. But she kept my dik harder than diamonds!

I prefer older chicks. I just don't like their games. Some are still attention wh0res and flakes and ghosts. Sometimes I regret not buying a Mercedes or a Tesla.

On the other hand, there are a lot of guys who don't have their shyte together, so they cannot handle drama.

That's why I have a lot of experience with 'chaotic' women, because they tend to gravitate to emotionally stable men who can put their feet back on the ground.
