Most of the fathers I know are betas. Strike that -- all of them are. My own dad is, my friends' dads were, and my friends who are dads all are.

Most alphas don't become dads. I mean they might have genetically fathered a child or two but they're not sitting at home reading Dr. Seuss to any of them.

LOL ha ha - Nice one Zarky ;)

Look - we have been through a seismic shift in society, and our fathers generation must have been quite dumbfounded by it. They started off as the heirs to the heroic returning soldiers of the second world war, and have lived through the sexual revoltion, only to realize what a stitch up its all been, and now realize that they have been fooked up the arse.....but dare not tell US this, because they might think we would be mad at them for not showing more manhood.....

Yes in anwser to the question. Demonstrate in a beta-ish way (non aggresively) to your young son, on strong ways....i say do it beta like, because ive seen some hard men try too hard and the sons end up as phags..... my own experience of this question is my pa and grandpa were both real men (my pa was a gambler and was always out) my grandpa was a special forces guy..... it was in my genes to be a potent testosterone fuelled player.....always loved pvssy anyways........ think i always will....lent my grandpa a DP porno, which he enjoyed aged 90 ;)

I think it's a good idea to give your sons a foundation for a great deal of self belief and confidence without looking for it from others. It's also great to show him that it's ok to chat with strangers and just be friendly in general and to maintain your boundaries and live by your principals. They will pick up on all of those things. Those things alone will get them 95% of the way with women and in LOTS of other important areas in life. No need to teach them how to be at all manipulative. If they are having trouble with dating and they ask you for help I think it's fine to talk about why you do the things you do if you are a psychologically healthy person and your son is mature enough to not use tricks to just f*ck a bunch of women and not give a damn about them. No need to get into the whole matrix red pill sh*t but if you see him going for girls with low self esteem / bdp chicks, unattractive girls, fat girls etc. you know he isn't there yet with his self esteem and confidence so go back to helping with that.

Betas > Alphas when it comes to being a father.

Just saying...

The alpha / beta / delta / sigma / gamma crap idea is too black and white for reality...

Fair shake...totally agree with you.

I'd rather be the "beta" teaching my son responsibility and passing along the things I've learned in life, than be the "alpha" and knock someone up and run away like an immature little man.

Let's ignore the red herring that is the alpha/beta debate...

The main reason most fathers aren't teaching their sons any half decent game is because the dating/relationship scene has changed so much between their generation and their sons' that the fathers have no idea what to teach.

I've seen dads who were Alphas overall, but of course being a father and husband requires some beta behavior mixed in.

Back to the original question, it would be nice if fathers would teach their sons this crap. Mine never did. Part of it is probably a fear of blowback from the wife. (Which of course ain't very Alpha.) Maybe this generation, having so many "learned" gamers, will teach more to its sons.

Imagine if sex ed covered game. Now that I'd like to see.

I'm 58 today, and I've learned about dating/relating since I got this computer than all the years prior.
Our dads never taught us this stuff because they simply didn't know any of it themselves-- not 99% of them, anyway. If they had any natural instincts to be chick-magnets, they couldn't TELL us how it worked, let alone pass it on to us.
In my early twenties, I tried to find guidance because I was my own worst enemy. It didn't exist. I stopped looking, but now you can find it all online, and most of it's free.
God Bless the Internet.
