To this day I'm baffled that the pharmaceutical industry would ever invest in developing drugs that would make guys hornier than they already are. I understand Viagra helps men with erectile dysfunction, but c'mon.

Humanity would be far better served by developing a drug to increase a woman's libido that wouldn't have the side effect of having them grow mustaches or turn their ****s into penises.

Edit: Of course I suppose we've made prior attempts in our past,...Tequila comes to mind,...

I am posing this question because I find less interest in sex now compare to a decade ago. I used to chase women like kites on the beach. I just don't feel any interest in pursuing them at bars anymore.

Am I losing it ?
No loss at all, but the desire is no longer all-consuming such as when I was 21. I’d like to think that I am mature but I still find I think with the little head more than I’d like to admit.

However, I’ve come to accept it as a natural part of me for which I will not apologize.

Not tooting my horn or anything here, but I get sex pretty much whenever I want. I usually only get the dire urge for it if I go a couple of days without. I'm almost taking it for granted.

And I agree with another poster, high stress will hurt your libido, test levels, etc. very much. I deal with it regularly.

My problem is both of those.

I found that women tended to become sexually aroused without those side effects when they rode in my black Mercedes 550.

Dude.....if there is anything that has aphrodisiac properties for women, it's PATRON.

I'm not kidding.

I've been saying for years that tequila either makes a chick want to kill you or rape you, and now with the whole Patron craze it's introduced women to something that is actually DRINKABLE, unlike Cuervo. I have talked to several women about this and they all say the same thing- they get horny when they drink tequila.

And not that Patron is anything close to the best stuff out there, but every bar has it and women aren't exactly adventurous when it comes to this sort of stuff.

And BTW....Viagra doesn't make you horny, it just makes you HARD. I don't have any problems in that department but I've tried Cialis and that sh!t will turn your d!ck into solid oak.

It will definitely change, I remember some pretty intense moments when I was younger. However, unless you're suffering from some medical condition you've got the natural ability to have sex damn near until you die, as a male.

I believe in "Use it or Lose it." If a guy is getting it regularly, he'll have a pretty good drive regardless of his age. On the other hand, TOO long a dry spell can hurt your drive. You get too used to going without it and you hardly miss it and/or get discouraged and largely give up. I'm in the latter group.

I'm 33 years old. I generally have one ONS per year while on vacation, and that's it for my sex life all year. I've been in this game for 5 years and have never pulled back home in the northeast.

So, with the long dry spells and discouraging results, my drive has gotten extremely low. I'm nearly at a point where once a year satisfies me.

There is a medicine that when I started taking, definitely gave me a boost: Terazosin (Hytrin) It's an alpha-blocker medicine used to treat high blood pressure and prostate problems. It's effect on the prostate is to make the prostate more easily secrete prostatic fluid (which causes the prostate to get cleaned out easier.) But the side effect is to have a lot of "rocket fuel" sitting ready to go. This effect seems to alert the brain that it's time to make a deposit somewhere, and that seems to drive horniness (which is natural, if you think about it.) Ejaculations seem to become more pronounced when I started taking it.

It's not a controlled medicine, so you should be able to easily get it through a pharmacy. Or if you have a cool doctor, say that you heard about this effect, and ask for an Rx.

Exfukingactly. This has been my mindset for the past 6 months and only at age 29. I'm finding less and less my preferences center around pure looks, or at least what the status quo deems attractive, and more to how the woman will reach me on more of a spiritual level. This does not mean that I am a one-woman man at this point in my life, I just don't judge women with the cliche standards of the popular culture.

Viagra was developed as a blood pressure medication; its only after they discovered the "side effect" of the pill giving a guy wood that the decision was made to market it as an erectile dysfunction pill.

Years of drinking from plastic bottles and drinking beer full of estrogen is enough to kill any man's testosterone levels.

It's definitely something to get tested if you haven't before even if your libido hasn't dropped.

I decided to give it a try and have done so now, a couple of times.

Last time was a couple of weeks ago when I had a date and I timed it for early evening. My timing was off as circumstances for sex aligned around 2am.

Thank God it had worn off by then. I don't drink coffee but it felt like I had drunk 5 cups- I could feel the potential for wood support but the side effect swamped out everything else and I just would not have had a good time, feeling like a raw nerve.
By the time sex happened I was relaxed, viagra-free and happy.

I'm not drawing any conclusions about viagra from my singular experience, just my experience after a small dose. I will not be taking it again, thank you.

I did a field test a couple of years ago with a 50mg Viagra and a week later a 20mg Cialis. Viagra starts to kick in after about 15 minutes and works for about 6 hours. Never ever had such a hard-on before. It almost hurt. You can plough through a frozen field with your dong.

Cialis took considerably more time to kick in but wears off like 3 days later. That's why it is called the "weekender". Not exactly as hard as Viagra, but hard enough for every task

Had a lot of drinks that night before sex? Not a problem anymore.

Side effects? A lot of happy faces. Some shocked faces ("It's already up again?" "Won't it ever go down?" "Again?") No fluffy in between the first, second and third round. After that it took a minute or two to be hard again. A light breath of air would suffice.

This is not meant as an endorsement but if you're experiencing difficulties that could hint at erectile dysfunction, just give it a shot and see for yourself. However consult your doctor first.

At 36 I never ever had problems regarding getting hard or with low sex drive although I am diabetic for 15 years. However the "experiment" was a lot of fun and since that day i keep a pack of both of them at home at all times. Just to be sure  (Haven't used any of them ever since)
