I am posing this question because I find less interest in sex now compare to a decade ago. I used to chase women like kites on the beach. I just don't feel any interest in pursuing them at bars anymore.

Am I losing it ?

Sounds like you're more selective, not lower sex drive. I believe tastes get more refined as you gain more experience, ie older.

Your hormones may have calmed down, but you should still have a healthy sex drive most of your life.

It's probably more a case of not placing so much value in sex. When you're in your teens, it's a holy grail and the only reason to get up in the morning. When you get a little older, you realize that there are other goals to pursue and accomplish. Sex almost becomes just another dish at the buffet (still a great one though). Really, if you're adhering to DJ principles, sex becomes a byproduct of living well and enjoying life.

If you feel like you're losing your drive, try exercising more. It will increase your testosterone.

Sex drive lowers with age. It will probably never go to zero unless you live to be 115 or something, but don't think it's going to be the same as it was when you were 17.

Some very good observations here....living in the same,by your standards,small community for most of my life,I would say the most promiscuous kids at 16 are now the several times divorced but still sexually active old guys....I still enjoy svx on a daily basis if I can get it and have no problems keeping it up,thanks to a natural diet and working out....sure it is not as deleriously pleasurable as in the past but still the greatest pleasure in life....As to other guys my age,many are falling by the wayside,prostate problems start to kick in at 50 or so and back and hip problems in the manual workers,also some fellows (Surprisingly many of the fittest and finest looking)just lose their Libido....at 50 most Caucasian women start to cut down on Svx and so it becomes a case of use it or lose it...The good news is that ones choice gets bigger than ever,ones ability to sort out the bad eggs and time wasters improves,and that together with not having to worry about Premature Ejaculation makes life for a philanderer very interesting So hit that gym,keep the weight down and eat naturally.

If you are losing interest in sex as you age the causes are more likely to be any number of the following:

Stress (a huge libido killer)
Weight gain (fat men have lower testosterone levels)
Lack of exercise (good for fighting stress, keeping your weight down and getting the blood flowing)
Too much boozing (when you are young it doesn't have an effect but if you are drinking regularly that will cut your sex drive way down as you age)
Either too much or too little sex....Chinese medicine thinks in your thirties three times a week is best, compared to every day when you are 18. But equally you don't use it you lose it.

Seriously, when you get older and lose the "marriage goal" mentality and stop becoming dependent upon women for your happiness, you begin to realize that women come and go, they eat, sleep, and sh!t like the rest of us, they cheat just like men do, they are sneaky and manipulative, and most of them don't look nearly as hot the morning after.

When you start to see women for what they are as opposed to the fantasy society has sold us, you realize that a lot of the time, the BS you have to put up with isn't worth the reward (sex) a lot of the time. Sometimes it's better to focus on other things and wait for the low maintenance freebees that come along from time to time. Sometimes you meet an interesting woman and you might put a little more time into her.

Men don't lose interest in sex as they age but sex is a little different when your younger. Lets face it guys you can't compare the sex drive of an average 21 year old to the average 41 year old. When I have sex with a girl now and I am 32 I average 2 nuts. I take a lot longer to ***. When I was 21 I would average 3-4 times. I would even *** keep my dik in the girls pu$$y and get it hard after 15 seconds and fuk her for the next 45 minutes. If I bust now I doubt I would be able to get it hard that fast like I was when I was 21. It would probably take me at least 2 minutes as opposed to 15 seconds.

That being said I think I am a better lover now than I was when I was 21.

That's the key point. As we become more mature, we just don't go through all the BS that we used to. We do either of these things:

[1] Overcome sexual desire, putting out minds in other things, and only let it out when we are in the appropriate situation (e.g., when we meet an interesting woman that shows good IOI.)

[2] Get married or into some sort of long term serious relationship, and we quench our desire through her

[3] Take the Charlie Sheen route and decide that sex is just a pleasurable activity, like skiing or playing video games, and hire women to pleasure us until we find a woman meeting the requirements of [2]

But the key is that we become no longer ruled by our sex drive. Instead we rule over it.
