Depression and irritability after having the flu

For the past few days, I've had the flu (running nose, fever, aches, pains etc.) Which also has the psychological effect of depression. I was thinking of taking a pain reliver (vicodin/norco) but, I'm not sure about driving on it.

Maybe a good vege shake or something... odwalla etc. ???

Something that would get me back to my bright eyed, bushy tailed self.
