Definition of "hooking up"

How do you guys define it? Meeting someone? Kiss with tongue? Oral sex? Intercourse?

Personally, I define it as oral sex, or HJ and fingerbanging.

When guys around my school say hooking up, they usually mean they spent the night with a girl, kissed, maybe got some ass, but usually not sex (hooking up usually happens at parties, sex isn't likely unless its in a backroom)

Hooking up is kissing at a bare minimum. Anything less is meeting.

Yeah seriously...I get confused when guys say they hooked up...I'm like, nice job, why are you so stressed out about the next date? Oh it's because they didn't actually hook up, just met at the mall and didn't even kiss. That's why.
