Cold approaching is a mixed bag.....
It helps to get rid of your anxiety around women but overall not a very effective way to get laid. Most women, at least the ones where i live, are HEAVILY conditioned not to get involved with a stranger.
Don't get me wrong a lot of them will be nice and receptive to your approach, especially if youre good looking, but to her dating a guy she knows from work, school, or friends is way safer and socially acceptable than some random dude that talked to her at wal-mart.
Heck, you don't even see women going home with strange guys in bars and clubs, and its supposed to be ok to hit on girls there!
305 is right....social circle game is the most optimal strategy for getting laid with the least amount rejections and flakes.
