the situation with one of my friends is EXACTLY as you described Bud. well, there is one difference: he DID date that one girl, but now they've broken up (i'm sure due to his dependence on her and his constant desire to wait on her hand and foot) he acts just like Bud. luckily, i think he can be helped, as he is a relatively open person.

I was just like the "Bud" character, where I'd hate the week-end because I'd not see the person, but then during the end sof school I realised I'd have the whole summer apart so it wa bes to become detached as soon as possible so I cut her off with about a month left. I still have to fight one-itis feelings but she isn't on my mind 24/7 or at all unless I see her
