YES. They can. If you're a super confident, fearless, all-macho type of guy they might figure it out a little later than if you're a shy, unconfident wimp like me, but anyways you're all done for. Your poor technique (you can learn from movies, but not even close enough!) and body language will give you away quickly. And she could or couldn't be amused by your poor acting.
I'm talking from experience. I tried and I failed. She didn't complain but it wasn't a pretty scene anyway...it was pathetic, ackward, shameful, and these memories will haunt me to the day I die (and maybe even later!.).
So, don't do it. Simply tell her it's the first time you lay a hand on a women, you don't have a clue about what to do and you're pretty anxious about it. If she's worth of you she'll be cool about it and will try to be a good teacher. If she isn't and falls off laughing...she's a piece of trash that has shown you her true colors, so forget about it and move on.
The first time is a complex enough matter, both physically and even more mentally...don't complicate it even more with lies.
